like sweets. I opened the packet and they were so pink and I was so surprised and delighted that I called my 3 year old to have a look. That was obviously a mistake as she just wanted to eat them and I had a feeling that Lupin seeds were poisonous. Distract and disarm – so we opened the other packets. Which was obviously a mistake as within seconds they were all mixed together. I have no idea, now they are all mixed and planted together, how they will all fare. The only seeds to escape the mixing were the sunflowers. So they had a tray of their own. They were all done and set to one side out of view – which was obviously a mistake. I heard Ralf – one of the dogs – snuffling and trying to eat the sunflower seeds. I should of course known because last week he busted into a bag of self raising flour and was eating it
This is so cute. Life with a three year old (and a dog) is never boring. 🙂
Thank you so much for your lovely comment – true, never boring but quite often exhausting!
Could you please identify all those interesting looking seeds.

Hello – well I know the pink are the Lupins, The long thin ones are Cosmos, the curled ones are marigolds and the little fluffy ones on the right are I think are cornflowers … I think!
